How-To

- Mega Tree -

I bought the parts for my Mega tree in kit form from ChristmasLightShow.com. It was just much cheaper to do it this way. The black water pipe and stakes and other odds and ends were purchased locally from The Home Depot or Lowes. Since ChristmasLightShow.com provide instructions with their kit and has some videos on their site, I won't reinvent the wheel. After I get the 2013 show running and have some spare time, I will update this page with a little more information.

My Mega tree has 16 Light-O-Rama channels controlling 16 sets of lights consisting of three strings each for a total of 4800 blue incadescent bulbs. I would love to have two more colors but this would require two more controllers and 9600 more lights. I would not have enough power connections to run that many lights unless I converted to LED which I cannot afford to do. Maybe someday!
